"Finn. We've had him for forever. He's super old and nearly blind, but he manages. He'll still purr for you when you pet him. People love coming into the shop because he likes to sit in the windowsill. We've gotten quite a few costumers that way, actually."

Thea smiled uncomfortably. "Yes. Well, you have experience traveling. Do you see anywhere that looks good?"
Venus stared at a leaf, watching possible futures flick by. Most were bloody. Some were hopeful. A couple even showed them meeting up with other people. When she saw a future where the three of them sprouted wings and flew off into the sunset, discovered the secrets of their pasts, became mighty dragons, and defeated the monsters with the power of friendship, she realized that she'd dozed off for a moment.

Giovanni looked around, brows furrowing. "Not right now. We have to locate a water source first before we build shelter." He wasn't really sure how he knew all of this, he just... did. He decided not to question it as he climbed through the undergrowth.

"I'm sure I'd love him too. I have plenty of time, it'll be fine. Judas won't expect me back at the shop until seven, and then the shift doesn't end until around one in the morning." Idly, Ricardo traced a finger along one of the tattoos along his left arm-- a small, geometric maze of sorts that stretched up along his upper bicep and disappeared under his shirtsleeve, poking out a bit just under his collarbone.

"One in the morning? Wow..." Vincent said almost absent-mindedly, watching Ricardo's finger trace the tattoo. It was mesmerizing, in a way. His grip on the coffee mug tightened slightly and he could feel his face grow warmer as his eyes followed the pattern up to Ricardo's collarbone. "I couldn't imagine working that late..."

"I bet. Has anyone particularly strange or possibly dangerous ever come in?" Vincent asked, forcing his gaze back to Ricardo's eyes. He took another sip of coffee before leaving the mug alone for fear of spilling the drink with all his fiddling. Instead, his fingers found themselves playing with the topmost button of his shirt, a nervous habit Vincent had had since he was a child.

Ricardo stared at Vincent's hands on the button of his shirt, feeling a blush creep up his face. "Uh... Dangerous? I don't know about anyone we couldn't really deal with... Mostly the customers that give us trouble are drunk guys who want to pick a fight. Judas usually sees them out, but Nel does it too. They used to work as a bouncer."

Vincent nodded. "It seems like you have a pretty fun job. I mean, you get to draw up designs and basically paint them onto people. It must be pretty rewarding to send away a happy costumer. I couldn't ever do it, though. Not the actual tattooing part anyway. I'd get too nervous about messing up, and then I'd actually mess up."

"It's a lot of pressure sometimes," Ricardo admitted, dragging his eyes back up towards Vincent's. "But I've learned over time that as long as I practice a design enough so that it becomes muscle memory, I can usually do it without any mistakes. And it is really nice to see happy customers." I bet he'd look nice with some poppies on his shoulders. Or back. Or maybe dandelions-- he looks like the type for a calf tattoo.

Vincent looked down at the table again before redirecting his gaze towards the window. He propped an elbow up on the table, resting his chin in his hand.

Vincent couldn't help but smile. "There are people out there with things called 'allergies'," he said, glancing at Ricardo. "And not everyone judges people with tattoos, myself included. On the other hand, working in a flower shop as a guy sets you up for some serious teasing."
