"I'd like a couple of your honey cakes, actually." Eliza handed the vendor a couple coins and was given two small yellow cakes dripping with honey. She thanked him and handed one to Alain.

"Alright. We'd better go then," she told him, grabbing Alain's arm and pulling him into the crowd. "There's another route we can take to get back to my house. The guards shouldn't be able to follow us."
