Trixie's tail-tip twitched irritably at the cryptic advice, but she said nothing, just throwing herself into the move again.
After several more tries, Trixie finally got the feeling of the move down. She was able to figure out how to coordinate her paws so she could slash out mid-air and still have her paws collected in order to land neatly. The leap wasn't as impressive as Thornheart's, and the strike from her paw not as powerful, but it was a definite improvement.
Trixie purred in triumph. It was a hoarse sound, however. Her limbs were trembling and sore from over-use. It had been a few hours of training, and after Trixie's soft kittypet life, she wasn't used to so much physical activity. Not to mention that she was pregnant.

Trixie felt a rush of frustration at her mentor's announcement. We've been working for hours! Dutifully, she started trotting alongside her mentor, trying to ignore the way her muscles were aching. Frustration turned to relief when Thornheart revealed she was kidding. Trixie's shoulders sagged. "Thanks," she mewed.
OOC: Sorry, I didn't realize this had been updated. Wanna take this back to camp?

The distant yowls of Grizzlystar and a whimpering fox could be heard on the horizon.
Thornheart frowned. He's doing it again...she though grimly then threw her attention back to Trixe. "Uh yes let's start heading back. She nodded kurtly.

Bluestorm approached the caribou basin, and immediately broke into a run. A Snowshoe hare fled from under his nose. He sprang, jumping square onto the rabbit's shoulder. He killed it quickly with the snap of neck. "Wnnt smm?" He asked Dawnblaze through muffled fur. He then realized that Grizzlystar was with them, and his original mission was to hunt for kits.

Grizzlystar raised an eyebrow. "Please Bluestorm for the clan first. Then the she cat. " he twitched his whiskers and stalked off into the grass. Returning a moment later with a fat lemming. (If you want Grizzlystar could have been Bluestorms mentor. And you could use it to 'impress'  ) |

Dawnblaze was half annoyed and half amused at Bluestorm's behaivor. It was sort of funny, how he kept messing up around the leader by trying to act smooth around her. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
Noticing movement in the corner, she quickly but quietly turned and saw a tiny mouse. Stalking it quietly, she waited until she was a tail-length away before pouncing. Neatly nipping the back of it's neck, she turned to the rest of their hunting party.

(Yes! That would be awesome! great idea!  ) "You know," Bluestorm said, moving close to Dawnblaze, "I should have known better, since Grizzlystar chose me single-paw-edly to be his own apprentice." That's almost truthful. Of course, he wasn't leader back then...so he didn't really pick me...but Dawnblaze doesn't know that. |

XD perf!) Grizzlystar thought were focused on a snowshoe hair he was stalking. He krept forward then paused. Getting ready for the pounced he glanced down and froze. A huge Grizzly bear paw print was dried into the eart . Powerful claws scared the bare ground. The tracks were old but his memories replayed images as if it were yesterday. His attention clicked back as he heard the rabbit begin to hop away. He let out a growl then launched, killing it with a snap of his jaws around its small throat he stood there and let the small trickle of blood stain his jaws.
