Bluestorm shut his jaws. Darn it. WHY CAN'T I JUST BE HAPPY?!?! "Wellll...Grizzlystar... Should we--" He froze. A musky scent touched his nose. It had been years since he last smelled this. A bear.

Grizzlystar gritted his teeth. " take the pray well lead farther out of the territory then place the prey there. Then well circle back and back track. Then get back to cam . ". He took up the hare and lemming

Dawnblaze quietly picked up her mouse and padded across the snow after Grizzlystorm, ignoring how badly she wanted to piss off Bluestorm even more for the sake of her leader.

Bluestorm very nervously followed his leader, snowshoe hare firmly in his jaws. The slightest crack put the fur on his back straight up. He put the rabbit down and tasted the air. It's on the move.

Bluestorm nervously proceeded. It was at that moment that he dropped his prey outside the territory. A great grizzly bear glared at him, only twenty cat-lengths away. He froze. "Grizzlystar," he said quietly, "what should we do?"

Grizzlystar froze as he stared at the small black eyes. Filled with so much anger and raise. Memories whipped through his mind as he could still hear the screams of his mother and sisters. Still feel the burning of the claws ripping against his shoulder. Still remember the blame that circled his . Finally he snapped out of the frozen fear and dropped the prey. "Both of you drop the prey. Then slowly back away until you are at least 30 bear lengths away.then run a circle away from here then head back to camp. I'll lead the bear away. " He swallowed hard. He hasn't lost a life yet and he didn't want this one to be his first.
(Love story turned violent !)

Dawnblaze gulped, nodded frantically. She gently stepped backwards, prey falling out of her mouth and hitting the snow with a soft thump. Her breathing was slightly faster, but that was all she allowed. Inside, her heart pumped like she was running a marathon, and her heartbeat was so loud in her ears she bet the bear could hear it. She wasn't like some other warriors, who'd try to prove themselves. She knew if she tried to help to fight off the bear, she'd probably get in the way and die. After all, if you die, you can't protect anyone, whether you're in StarClan or not. That was her philosophy. She normally wasn't very good at following it; She was impulsive at all the wrong times, but she knew when to stop being stubborn.
(But aren't those the best kind? ;D)

Bluestorm shut his eyes. What if that bear rips out every last life in him? He looked to Dawnblaze. At that moment, he truly admired her--I mean, if he were her, he'd let "Bluestorm" rest in the jaws of the bear.
The bear turned its head warily towards the cats. There was a foam at the base of its lips.
Oh no..! Bluestorm thought. "Grizzlystar, don't go near that bear." He beckoned to its mouth.

Bluestorm rested his tail on Dawnblaze's shoulder. "Come on." I heard about that loner died after that fox attack...she also had foam on her lips. This won't become something spreading, right?! Bluestorm stood on top of a rock overlooking the situation.
