Iris froze. A musky smell swept into her nose. Fox. And Clan cats Her claws automatically unsheathed and she limped among the bushes to listen to what was going on.

(Cool!  ) A growl rumble deep within the fox's throat. It pulled its lips back from its long, sharp teeth in a snarl. Tensing its muscles, the fox prepared to leap at the two cats. Or, wait… Was it three? "Bring it on, beetle-brain!" Mosspaw hissed, feeling about as far from confident as was possible. |

Iris took note of the situation using her remaining senses. Her ears swiveled in the direction of snarls and yips, and her tongue tasted blood in the air. Should I help..? She stalked forward, her protruding single blind eye strangely focused.

Iris stalked forward, her ears wary of the fox around her. "Someone is here, yes." Her unkept black tortoiseshell fur was grimy and her massively scarred face and back leg could easily appear frightening. "You want me to distract the fox?"

Iris peeled her lips back in a yellow-tooth smile. "Of course. Anything for the Clan cats," she rasped with a hint of sarcasm in her tone. She must have seemed like a lunatic as she stalked directly up to the fox's face, narrowly avoiding its slavering jaws. She felt the moves coming in the air movement, and scented the musky smell. "Here, foxy foxy foxyyyy." She daringly licked its ear in a flurry of movements, taunting it to follow her closer as she began creeping in the direction of their camp.
