Excited, Scarletpaw quickly licked down some fur on her shoulder. Going on patrol with other apprentices usually meant she'd be pushing boulders out of the way or lugging the heaviest prey to camp, but with older warriors, maybe they could take care of that and she could hunt.

Grizzlystar had just awoken from the nights sleep. He ha trotted out to one of the higher points of the clearing to watch the sunrise. His second favorite part of the day.
