Grizzlystar trotted into camp. He did an early Dawn patrol and was just getting back. The sky that was covered in clouds was streaked red and crimson from the slow rising sun. He sat by one of the tiny spruces that littered parts of the territory and watched the sun rise. He frowned a he could see his breath in the chill air. "It's going to be a cold one. " he mumbled

Icegaze was sharing a mouse with her sister at the edge of the clearing. She looked up and was greeted by the frown and worry in the leader's eyes. "I agree," she said quietly. "And some of the cats are as skinny as it is."

Out in the clearing Grizzlystar sat watching Lupinekit chase a ball of rolled up lichen. He smiled warmly as he watched her play. He wanted kits but lacked a mate. The thought made him laugh. "Focus on the clan Grizz" he mumbled to himself and stood up. " Boarder Patrol!" He yowled

Lupinekit batted a shred of lichen between her paws. She felt lonely being one of the only kits in the clan and this is how she spent her days.
