She doesn't tell him that she just wants to hear his laugh again, loud and carefree, and see the way it crinkles at the corners of his eyes. She finds that she likes just seeing him happy. All of a sudden, there's a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Hey, are you ticklish, by any chance?"

Victoria shrugged, taking a moment to think. "I don't want to just hear your laugh once," she said eventually. "I want to hear it all the time. I've never really seen you happy before today and I think you don't like to let yourself be happy and just have fun."

Victoria felt her chest tighten and she reached over to grab ahold of him like she had when she'd been tickling him, but gentler this time, more like a hug. "I want to see you smile and let you be you once in a while. I just want you to be happy. That's what would satisfy me."
