As they danced, Coral could feel herself grow more relaxed. She twirled Carnelian a couple times, chuckling softly as she pulled the orange gem towards her again. The moment Coral's hand had returned to Carnelian's waist, their bodies melted into light and a second later, Red Agate stood on the sand, laughing giddily.

Agate, after a brief moment of glee at having fused, closed their eyes. A battleaxe and a kopesh appeared in each hand scarlet-and-white banded biceps flexing with the movement as they seemed to turn to light and meld together. A large, Egyptian-style fan axe formed, and the fusion looked up, taking on a fighting stance.

They watched the place Lepidolite had taken Tanzanite, waiting for Fluorite to appear. It wouldn't be long now before they were forced into battle.

Fluorite stood up straight, surveying the area. They were quite large, a random mix or dark purples and light purples and some green. "Strange to be back," they said, with a chuckle. "It's been a while." They stretched, trying to adjust to bring back again.

Agate tensed, assessing the situation. Fluorite was larger than them, but they had the feeling that this could end up being an easy fight. Lepidolite and Tanzanite's fusion seemed rash and less-focused on strategy, which would make them an easy target when using more technique-oriented moves.

Agate held their weapon aloft, teeth bared and markings on their skin like a warrior's body paint. They said nothing, but their strong stance was enough of a message. Take one step closer and that will commence our battle.

Agate frowned as Flourite walked in the opposite direction. Of course they wouldn't attempt an attack from behind; that was dishonorable, but... They stared down at Morganite, confused.

Morganite stood by Red Agate's foot, looking up at the huge sum of her two friends. "When they attack, I'll try to get some shots at them! I say we go for the least violent approach and make our main goal getting them to unfuse."

Fluroite continued along the shore, slowing down considerably. There was no need to rush, after all. It had been such a long time... they might as well enjoy it. Fluorite knew they may not be coming back again after this. Part of them felt excruciatingly guilty for leaving the other gems like that, but another part didn't care at all. It was almost maddening; this hadn't happened like this before. They were usually pretty stable.

Agate nodded, lowering one of their large hands for Morganite to hop onto, eyes zeroing in on the pink gem with a silent sort of intensity.

After a while, Fluorite stopped near a large cave. The ground was littered with shards of sparkling objects. Muttering, Fluorite went inside and began their search.
