June nodded, holding her tongue. Sometimes, it was best not to push an issue too much. Not until she was more sure of what her opinion was. But the seed of an idea had already been planted in Will's mind, and they'd both have more time to think about it. I just feel like this isn't normal.

He left her with the ice cream as he went to search for the disc, returning minutes later to set up the machine. It struck him as terribly domestic, and the floor hurt his knees as he crouched to shove the DVD in, but he'd missed such activities. Work kept him and his wife away from each other for infuriating lengths of time, after all. "Turns out it's Indiana," he commented as he stood, pulling a face. "What kind of a name is Indiana?"

Cora sat on the floor of her room, hugging and resting her head on her knees, staring blankly at a wall. She was tired, so tired. Sleep had never come easy to her, and she was still struggling after her suicide attempt not long ago. She didn't speak about it too much, although all the thoughts and memories made her insides churn. Cora was trying her hardest to get better, to help herself, but nothing like that was ever easy, and talking to people about her issues never came easy to her either.
