"Well, sure I'm the Avatar!" He grinned a gap-toothed smile. "See?" Waving his hands, little streams of fire wiggled around his face. He stomped his feet and the pebbles trembled, slowly hovering around him. There was a mysterious breeze from nowhere that made Hiranya's hair snap out of it's carefully made braid. And the little boy promptly resumed playing with his new toys.
And Hiranya promptly looked like she was about to faint. Or explode. Or both. "Why didn't you ever mention this before?!"
"I thought you already knew."
