Tessa stood outside with one hand against the wall, mentally preparing herself for the party. Her sides still ached from the journey down the stairs. Normally she would be thrilled by the prospect of attending a social event, but she was somewhat apprehensive about seeing Bianca again. Nic too, for she hadn't spoken to him since her departure months ago. So much has happened since then.
