"Huh, that's good," he quickly averted his gaze, looking notably relieved yet also somewhat guilty. "I... I haven't actually heard much from Bubbles recently, is she doing alright?" Xander hadn't exactly been doing his best in trying to keep in contact with her after all, something he quite literally kicked himself over.

"That's even better, I don't know much about muggle healthcare but I'm glad it turned out fine. Never had much experience with it myself but I've heard some horror stories about the NHS... I should apologise to her later too." He chuckled nervously, running a hand through his hair and realising his mistake a split second later when his fingers were caught by one of the many knots that formed in the wet, tangled mass. Ah.

He thought for a moment, yanking his hand out and smoothing his hair down to the best of his abilities. "D'you think so? I've been feeling sort of... Off lately so I guess I haven't been around much either. It's probably just because I'm overworking myself though, the team's been focusing on the scoring abilities of chasers with extended practice time."
