Grizzlystar bounded towards the field with his patrol. He rose his tail for the others to halt and scent the air. Not only checking for danger but for prey too.

Gullfrost lifted his nose, scenting for any prey. He sneezed at the biting cold. It was going to be SnowFall soon enough...

"It's gonna be a harsh one. " Grizzlystar said quietly as he referred to the temperature change. "Nothing new I suppose. " he trailed off as he caught the scent of lemming. Grizzlystar crept forward slowly. Using his large paws to take bigger steps. He pounced catching the lemming by the tail, he took a quick nip at it's neck and killed it. He have a nod and started a pile, he stood watch of the lemming a he let the others hunt. Since the ground was to hard to dig someone needed to watch the prey.

Gullfrost's eyes widened at the sight of the lemming. Where there was one, there were usually more. Quickly, he headed off to search for any stragglers.

Scarletpaw watched in silence. She realized that she had only hunted... once. All other times she had been on boulder duty. Would she embarrass herself in front of her leader and a warrior if she dared try?
