Grizzlystar shifted his paws as he saw a snowshoe hate. He scented the air. No sign of predators. He got up and sprung giving chase through out the shrubs and lichen.

With three more bounds Grizzly star caught up to it. He slashed at the back leg and the hare tumbled forward. Grizzlystar was quickly on it and took it down. He started on bck to the lemming and growled as he caught the fresh scent of arctic fox.

Grizzlystar nodded, his lip curling lightly. "This will be the fourth one this moon. They are getting bolder. " he grumbled and started stalking forward keeping all his senses tuned up. He left the hard under a shrub.

Grizzlystar make it to the turn of the boulder. With unsheathed claws he leapt out with a snarl.
The fox, caught off guard, jumped in the air from fright and let out a challenging bark before throwing himself at Grizzlystar. The fox was young and naive.
Grizzlystar growled and flung a paw at his face to stop the creature from pouncing.
