Philip stopped in the middle of the hallway. There was no way they'd be able to outrun this guy. It would be easier just to fight, and more honorable to die fighting than running.

He matched his movement, raising his weapon in response. He held the broadsword in a death grip, attempting to keep his hands from shaking. This was serious, not some training session. This was real. Philip stood there, waiting, trying to decide whether or not to attack first.

Fernando hurried across the school, ending at a door labeled, "Roof Access -- Authorized Stafff Only." Without even pausing to test the handle, Fernando blew open the lock with his gauntlet. Inside there was a ladder, which, as the label had suggested, led to the roof. "Ladies first," Fernando said, moving aside and holding the broken door open for her.

Victoire's gaze flew frantically around the hallway. Flammable, flammable.... this would be so much easier if this power came with supplies. No matter anyway, as it looked like the combat would be hand to hand, or, in her case, hand to machete.

(sorry i missed all this guys been super busy.) Steven was following the ninja after seeing him chasing two student down the hall he was to far away to help, but he gave chace. he had aslo noticed a fire behind him. (the fire department will get it he tought.)

Tamashi dodged the attack, moving with a fluid grace. Still, his eyebrows knit together as he got a glance at the broadsword. Is that... blood?

Philip whirled around to face his attacker and let out a slow breath in an atrempt to calm down. He needed to focus. In an instant, his sword melted into liquid and reformed into an axe. On second thought, it shrunk down to a dagger. Without missing a beat, Philip feinted to the left and ducked, slashing at the backs of the man's knees.

Philip gasped as the sharp edge caught his cheek, but didn't let the opportunity to get the upper hand slip away. Using the man's awkward angle against him, he rose to his feet abruptly in an attempt to knock his adversary off balance.

Steven turned the corner only to find a man with a katana fighting a student with blood? wait he reconized thid student it was the same one he tried to help earlier. He pulled his staff out of his back pocket taped it and ran toward the fight. (he is in his costume.)

Meanwhile, Victoire had accumulated a collection of loose papers from a nearby classroom. She was attempting to strategically place them around the hallway, and lighting fires in their places one by one. Looks like these Geometry students won't have homework today! With any luck, the fires will start forcing them down the hallway and towards the roof access.

Tamashi jumped back nimbly, letting one of his feet kick out towards Philip. The boy was a good fighter, he could admit that. Perhaps good enough for the Order.

He let out a grunt as the kick caught his arm and jabbed the dagger at the man's leg as he stumbled back. He shot a hard glance towards Victoire. She'd better hurry up with that fire.

Victoire snapped a few times, prompting a spark from the stack of papers. Come on! This can't take much longer! She rocked back onto her knees, resisting the overwhelming urge to throw the papers everywhere. Alright, focus. Breathe. All I need is one little flame, and... A red inferno shot up from the pile, and Victoire sighed with relief as it grew taller, and spread quickly. Finally.
