Philip smiled, reaching in the pantry for some vegetable stock, which he added to the boiling water. He grabbed a bag of potatoes next and washed them, placing each one in front of Victoire's cutting board once he was through and doing the same with some celery.

"Ooh, thanks!" Victoire picked up the knife again and went to town on the potatoes. "My old team never let me come in the kitchen between the hours of 5:30 and 7:00 for this reason. Do you cook a lot?"

Philip shrugged modestly. Her question, however, brought back many memories of helping out in the kitchen. He and his mom usually baked while his dad cooked and his sister sat at the table, complaining about how long they were taking. He suddenly felt homesick as he reached into a cupboard to grab a variety of different herb and spice bottles, not even paying attention to which ones he took.

Victoire squinted at the bottles, wondering vaguely why she was mixing cocoa powder and Garlic salt. "You seem to know what you're doing. Hopefully nothing burns or poisons everyone tonight! It would be nice to have something good happen today. Everyone's so deflated... And I see why, but still."

Philip smiles and shakes his head lightly. Of course nothing was going to be poisoned. And it was unlikely anything else would burn. He turned and plucked the two clashing ingredients from Victoire's workspace, placing each in their respective homes in the cabinets. He patted her shoulder, pointing to the vegetables before turning to sort through the herbs he'd taken from the shelves.

(sorry for not being here again guys its been a tough week my grandma just passed away and everyone in my family is crazy bussy i cant keep time its a mess, ill do my best to keep postting but i dont think im helping the rp very much going on and off like this so if i find i cant keep up i think i might stop but im going to try im not quiting just yet)

This must be the place Steven thought to himself with no school steven decided to pack his things and finally move in with the other young justice group he was shaken up from the fighting he just went home without saying anything. he put his suitcase on the ground knocked on the door.
