Lauren breathed out in a brief puff of air, looking up at him through her mascara-coated lashes. She decided to ignore the compliment in light of their situation, although it didn't quite go unnoticed, and a natural colour appeared beneath the synthetic blush applied on the apples of her cheeks. "What's this then?" She asked instead, rolling the metallic sphere across her palm with the tip of her thumb. "It doesn't look like much."

(Dawn, please check my previous post, I left you a question)
Fernando frowned, moving to turn off the lights in the room and step outside. "Really? Does no compliment get to you? That's the one that usually gets every other girl." Sighing, he held the door to the hallway open for her. "Anyway, it's an electrical generator. It'll zap the target for a few seconds, maybe like 10, 15 if we're lucky. You press the button and throw it, by the way."

Victoire peeked around the corner one more time, seeing the locker bay for herself. She held up three fingers, counting down. When she reached 1, she slinked around the corner and darted towards the lockers.

(Oh, it was fine. I wouldn't class that as power playing really ^^ it would have been unnecessary to 'attempt' to close her fingers around the ball, and seeing as it really didn't have any drastic effect on the roleplay, it's not worth thinking about.)
She cast him a rueful smile, stepping out into the corridor. As he explained the device, she looked down at the sphere in her palm and frowned. "Oh, that's clever! Although I've got terrible aim! What if I miss and hit someone else by accident? Honestly, I'd be best trying to throw it at you because it'd have a higher chance of hitting that man with the sword." The thought made her laugh in a sort of flustered way, before she realised that it was totally unsuitable in their current situation and straightened her face.

Philip ducked and ran after her, taking refuge behind a locker in the middle of the smallish space. He was breathing heavily, afraid that the two may've seen him. He dared a glance down the hallway and sighed a quiet breath of relief. They weren't looking in his and Victoire's direction. Good, good... He turned to his teammate questioningly, scribbling hastily, Disable him from here? What about that lady?

(Ok, thanks! Just to make sure) Fernando nodded, only half-paying attention. He was thinking about how to get to the other side of the school as fast as possible. "You know what they say, spray and pray. Anyway, Jack, which route is the fastest to get to the Math wing? Or should we wait for them to leave, like on the roof?" Fernando turned, his back to Lauren. Being completely honest, he was slightly put off by Lauren. What's wrong with my moves? She's giving me no signs... Ugh. I'll put it aside for now, just focus.

"Alright. Red team is supposed to lead the target-- targets, plural, now-- to the side of the school nearer yours. Far away from any civilians. That means that you guys need to be around the area of the Arts Department. Go on the roof and find a place that you can scope the Math building. The red team should probably be going in your direction, so stay low and wait until the perfect moment to surprise the targets and attack. Now, as for the best route... I sent a map to your phone. Sorry for the weird-looking lines, I just downloaded a cheap drawing app and thumb-art is hard."

In an attempt to stay quiet, Victoire wrote her response back on the notepad. I can try to start a fire from here. We could light it at the end of the hall on that board, and if they run in the wrong direction, we'll spring out and try to grab them. Jack said the other one had a sword, so we should try to drive both out.

Philip nodded his approval. We need them to go out through the art wing, he wrote, adjusting his grip on the hilt of the sword. He wished he could just put it down, but he might need to use it at any moment.

Victoire read the note and quickly scribbled a reply. Gotcha. Hold on. This might take a minute. She peeked back into the hallway, hoping the two targets couldn't see her. Setting her sights on the paper board, she stepped out to get a better vantage point. This would all be so much more convenient if I could do things from far away.

Philip watched her, keeping an eye on the two figures at the end of the hallway too. If they saw her, there was high chance they'd attack, and they really didn't need that right now.

Fernando nodded, receiving the map on his phone. The next few minutes were used up by mumbling, thinking, the realization that the map was upside down, an effort to make sense of Jack's "thumb-art", and more mumbling. "Ok! Got it!" He announced. "Lauren, we need to go down this hallway, make a left, a right, and another right and we'll be at the roof access. From there, we're right outside-- or rather, on top-- of the drop point by the Art Department." He put his phone away, tightened his gauntlet, and checked on his electro-generating shperes before heading down the hallway. "Come on, Lauren! We need to be ready for the Blue-- Sorry, Red-- whatever, the other color team!"

A few moments later, a click sounded in the hallway, accompanied by a spark, a flame, and a dull throbbing in the back of Victoire's head. She booked it across the hall, and slid back into her place behind the lockers out of breath. "We lit a fire," she murmured into the comms link.

Ms. Kyoya frowned. "You don't know half the story, and yet you have the nerve to come and kill me? Let's see how graceful your return is when you fail to eliminate me." The woman took a step forward aggressively, as if to commence her attack, when a fire erupted out of nowhere. Momentarily shocked, she was left to stare at it, but quickly regained control and used the flame as a destruction to flee towards the Art Department. Her katana, however, remained unsheathed. A fire, and whoever dared start it, would not be enough to stop whatever assassin they'd send after her.

Tamashi gritted his teeth, racing after her. "Running again?" He screeched in Japanese. "A fire would never have stopped the assassin Sh-- whoa!" The flames spread rather quickly, singing his dark robes. It appeared that he'd have to make another way towards her. But first, punishment for whoever started it.

"Alright. Hopefully it doesn't wreck the school too much before it's safe to put it out. You should try to lead the targets towards the Arts department."

He's after us! Philip gave Victoire an urgent look. They could either fight and drive him to the art wing, or run and lead him in that direction. Either option would be insanely stressful and quite dangerous, but they didn't really have much choice, or time to decide.

"Okay, Okay, um...." Victoire peeked around the corner frantically at her spreading fire. "Let's just run and hope they stay in front of us! They'll have disadvantage if they're backward, because they have to stay back to keep away from the fire."

Philip nodded. So they'd be chasing him out. He took a deep breath and stood. After briefly touching Victoire's shoulder to let her know they were going, he quickly counted to three on his fingers and bolted.

"Okay!" Lauren started after him down the corridor, relieved that at least he seemed to know where he was going. She was completely lost; all the walls looked exactly the same, and it didn't help that she hadn't even been in that part of the school before.

Victoire shot out after him, running into the unknown. She tapped into her comms link. "Jack, do you have eyes on target? We're losing them in the fire."
