8-Ricardo
Ricardo ran out of the Gryffindor common room in his pajamas, eyes wide as he slammed door behind him. The shock of moments earlier was still present, but as it began to fade, he realized that something was wrong.
There was nobody else in the dormitory.
Or the common room.
Or the hallway.
Fear stuck an icy claw in his heart again when he realized who else might be missing. He turned on his heel, rushing down the hall towards the dormitories of the other houses.

Moby was already shoveling food into him mouth, savoring each bite. Around him, people smiled, asked him things, and at one point, an old lady with white hair came up to him and greeted him by pinching his cheek and commenting on how skinny he was. So this was what it was like to have a family. Moby liked it. He turned to smile again at Viola and her new shiny badge. He was glad she could make it, even if she hadn't had time to change out of her work clothes. After all, she was family too.

"It was great! Thank you for asking," he replied brightly. "I didn't do much in the way of exciting things though. Mostly helped with the food, I think. But what about you? Work must've been exciting." Moby shifted in his chair so he was sitting sideways in it, facing her. He rested his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands, waiting eagerly for a story of some sort.

"Leo?" Tessa's voice raised a few octaves. "Well, he's sweet and not bad looking, I suppose. I just didn't have him pegged as your type, that's all." She examined her reflection in the mirror, subtly admiring how her clothes fit snugly against her slim build. Something seemed off about it, but she pushed the thought to the back of her mind, sweeping her hair off her shoulders. "Besides, I thought he was pretty smitten with Bianca."

Frowning slightly, Vincent stepped out into the hallway. He hadn't even noticed Ricardo leave. He began to wander the castle, calling Ricardo's name every so often. The Gryffindor sighed. He'd probably just gone into the bathroom and all Vincent would be able to return to was embarrassment.

The Gryffindor turned at a corner, not realizing that he had just gone in a circle until he saw a familiar set of windows, and a flash of red hair. Vincent. Ricardo rushed up to him, laughing out loud in relief. "Oh, thank god you're here. I was just about to think that there wasn't anybody in the castle at all."
