Coral looked over and sighed. She wasn't sure if she could face them out of embarrassment now. Especially Carnelian. But she couldn't exactly avoid them now.

Carnelian followed, shoving their hands into their pockets. They weren't sure if they were ready to face Morganite, let alone Coral, after the events that had happened in the attic. Still... In their pocket, Carnelian could feel the sharp edges of shattered gem fragments. She would have dragged me over here by the hair to apologize. I can't back off now.

Carnelian gazed at Coral carefully. They hadn't expected an apology from her. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have yelled at you like that. You didn't even mean anything against me, and I'm sorry I assumed you did."

Carnelian rubbed at their arm. The atmosphere was still... awkward. They hated that feeling. "You know," they said quietly, meeting Coral's eyes. "We can go swimming for a bit. That could be fun." What am I saying? I hate swimming!

Coral allowed herself a small smile, looking up at Carnelian. "Yeah. Yeah, that sounds nice. You're new around here, I guess. At least, you haven't seen what's really in the ocean, so it should be exciting," she said, slowly becoming more and more enthusiastic.

"I promise it'll be alright." Coral motioned for them to follow as she walked towards the surf. She dug her toes into the sand with each step, the ground underneath soon becoming wet and almost solid as she got closer to the water.
