Rita bit her tongue. "Actually I'm out here so I can try to read in peace. Or at least I was trying until you arrived. Why don't you leave me to study rather than having a go at me for not trying?" There was a definite edge to her voice now, and her brown eyes had narrowed considerably during her last statement.

The Slytherin scowled, refusing to talk as she returned to her seat and opened the book again. Supercilious little tool. She tried to rid the Gryffindor from her mind, instead trying to focus on the chapter she had been reading, but her thoughts kept on wandering to their snide exchange.
