Cher was floating through the crowd, sipping cider and making small-talk. Oh my god, I can't believe this all came together! Even after I wrote the blueprints last night and ordered the decor this morning. What was I saying about responsibility earlier?

"Let's go, then." Lukas walked away from the bright lights of the party. The more he did, the more pale and ghost-like his hair looked in the dark. The same Nordic cross flashed in it, a deep groove present from the quest.
Toris glanced at Cher, wondering if he should go talk to her. He sighed, looking away. Since the quest, she's really much more popular. Maybe it wouldn't be the best to waste her time. She has bigger fish to fry now. Better people to hang out with.
