The Pavilion

Cher scribbled on her clipboard, checking off a few things as she scanned the spacious room. "Lights, done. Music, done. Food, done," she read off. "Cool! Now this place is all ready for tomorrow! The hour off partying is almost upon us."

Suddenly, there was a loud, bloodcurdling shriek and a gold and purple streak whizzing across the courtyard. Cher tackled them in a hug. "ANDREAANDERSENLUKASIMISSEDYOUGUYSOHMYGODHI"

"It's so great to see you all again! So what have you guys been up to? What's happening a Camp Half-Blood? Any new quests?" She raised an eyebrow, sliding in between Andrea and Lukas and nudging them both. "Any new... blossoming romance? I hear the Athena and Hecate Cabins are awfully close this time of year!"

"Awww!" Cher grinned. "Well, I can assure you guys that there will be at least one slow dance at the party," she cackled. "OH. The party! To be honest, I've spent so much time planning it, I've hardly set foot outside the Pavilion all day. I've still got some last minute decorations to put up. Do you guys want to help?"

Cher produced a clipboard seemingly out of nowhere and began to read off the list. "Lights, streamers, mistletoe, the fountain, tables, and the food table. Sounds easy enough."

She shrugged. "Eh. Details. So this should take about an hour, and then that gives us time to run over to the Venus barrack and pick out an outfit... and then I'll unlock the Pavilion at 7:00!" She checked the time on her phone briefly. "Alright, people, we're on a tight schedule. We've got five hours to decorate, accessorize, and open up shop, so let's go now!"

"Lights!" Cher threw a large bundle of lights in their general direction. "Put these up all over the place. Around the columns, on the walls, the Christmas tree, wherever looks good. Also, somebody needs to go light up the giant menorah." She scribbled something down on her clipboard. "See that table in the back there? I need somebody to set up the trays of food on there. Make it look artsy. I planned this party down to the last leaf of lettuce on the sandwiches, so I will know if you eat something, and I have my sword with me. You have been warned." She gestured to the corner of the room. "Somebody go put tables and chairs over there. Make sure there are exactly six chairs at each one- no more and no less. Also, roll the carpet down the middle of the room. It don't want it but an inch off. This party has to be perfect. Get it? Good. Now go! Let's move it people! And I don't want to hear one word about procrastination!"

"Hey Toris!" Andrea greeted, returning the smile. "How's the recovery?"

Meanwhile, Cher could be heard yelling at people inside the pavilion. "What do you mean sky blue was all they had left? Who could have possibly bought out all of the dark blue balloons?! These won't go with the silver ones!" "I don't care if it's gross! Get the plunger and plunge it!" "Who ate a sprinkle off of this cookie?!" "Get it together people! Do you want the Greeks to think we have no class?" "Wait! Don't use the pastel ribbons! This isn't a baby shower!"
