Jian brought out the useless map again in an attempt to make sense of it, rummaging through his pockets before realising that he had entered a clearing of sorts. His eyes brightened up as he noticed a small cottage located nearby, maybe anyone living there would know of a way out. It was highly doubtful that they would have seen the general he was looking for but it wouldn't hurt to ask them either.
