Clara closed her eyes, her whole body hurting, the pain almost unbearable. Shuddering, she managed to pull something from out of her quiver, which was lying next to her, barely holding itself together. It was a small knife.
Use it, jeered the voice. Who knows, you'll probably die faster. And you can't feel much more pain than this, can you? Plus, blood is much more exciting than being cooked.
"No," she managed to moan, flicking the knife away and trying to focus on anything else but her own thoughts.

Meanwhile, Algorab was driving Cliff closer and closer to the edge of the building. As they got towards the corner, Algorab's attacks became more vicious and precise, as if the only thing he wanted in the world was to kill Captain America's son.

(I think that by then the team would be revived and the base revamped. However, if you want to do an introductory thing, your character could have just arrived. But by the point at which we start, most of the team will have formed.)

Claudia's eyes were trained on the screen as the show began. In between mouthfuls of popcorn, her appearance subconsciously changed: from the thin lips and badly dyed hair of Trinidad to the dark curls of Teresa and back to her own features.
