"Of course it's a good thing," she replied softly, face growing hot. She glanced away, down at her lap. Part of her was having a hard time comprehending what was going on, and the other was thinking too fast to even keep track of the thoughts. Would she mess this up somehow? This was so much more difficult than being friends. But she liked this. It was nice. Ultimately, Jane was confused.

"I dunno. Just how quickly this all happened." Jane closed her tired eyes again, letting the feeling of his heartbeat and breathing relax her. Riley was really very soft, and very warm... She could easily fall asleep like this.
