Here is a list of herbs found in the tundra that are used by Tundraclan Cotton Grass: A sedge with long, slender leaves. The cotton is used to stop bleeding Lichen: When chewed into a paste, can be used to fight against infection Arctic Willow: A very versatile herb. Its uses include relieving toothache, helping to stop bleeding, curing diarrhea and indigestion, and it can be used as a poultice on wounds. In addition, the leaves can be chewed and placed on bee stings to soothe them Caribou Moss: Not commonly used, but can be used to cure diarrhea and the removal of kidney stones. It can also serve as a food source during harsh times, but may cause nausea Bear Berry: When eaten in small quantities, the leaves can be used as strengthening herbs for traveling Pasque Flower: Highly toxic and carcinogenic. The equivalent to death berries. However, it can help induce birth for a kitting (ask the Blackfoot indians...I dunno) Purple Saxifrage: Petals are eaten, and are used as a traveling herb. Coltsfoot: Used on sores and for arthritis. Can be eaten to ease coughs
