A deep, slippery slope. Trees grow along its edges, and leaves have accumulated on the bottom. A stream flows during the snowmelt months, but is blocked up come deep summer. The ravine is rich with prey, but beware of falling.

Russetpaw padded along the edge of the ravine, sniffing the air. This looks like a good spot to practice, he thought. Then I'll impress everyone back at camp. They'll finally see that I can fight!

Marbleleaf stood at the top of the ravine, surveying the territory. I'm sure there'll be chervil growing here somewhere.

She laughed, shaking her head. "The leaf monsters are scared of me, they wouldn't dare attack." She lowered her voice to a whisper as she continued. "They know that I like to chew them up and use them to treat wounds."
