Flamepaw sleepily twitched his whiskers as the pleasant warmth of the morning sun washed over his pelt. His eyelids were heavy with exhaustion from training the previous night but it had yet to put a damper on the feeling of elation bubbling in his chest, two moons had already passed but every day he eagerly anticipated the guidance that he would receive from his mentor.
