A skinny, underfed tom's eyes darted around. There hasn't been a Dark Forest leader for a long time... but I remember the days of the greats, like Robinfeather... maybe if I got on that old ledge... He was too moronic to note that it took a stronger cat than he to unify the wild dark forest again. He could be killed, and a twice-death meant being gone forever. Yet, he approached the ledge, trembling.

Adderblaze watched the tom and laughed. "Old fool. You think you could last a moment up there?" He rolled his eyes. Though the toms appreance was young and strong as it always had been he was faded slightly and his eyes darken more every day. In time he grew many scars and more skills but knew there was no sense in putting a target on you back like that.

Adderblaze snorted. "That's what I thought. " he flicked his mane to the side to reveal the four bone deep claw marks. No blood no muscle underneath. Just bone and darkness.

Adderblaze nodded "That could work. " he agree as he unsheathed his talons. He looke at the old timer and smiled devishly "We can start by..." With a quick movement he snapped forward, fast as the animal his name took after. He bolted the claws up in an upward motion aiming to slash the elder from tail tip to throat. "...We get rid of the old!" He smiled
