Later that day, Reina was at work, leaning on top of a counter. It had been an exceedingly slow day, for some reason. There were only so many times you could reshuffle cutlery and clean tables over and over until there was nothing else to do but wait for someone to arrive and try to act perky again. Sighing, she adjusted the apron on her uniform for what seemed to be the hundredth time.

Lily pushed open the door to the diner, hesitating for only a moment before stepping inside. At her side was her older brother, who quietly pointed out a booth.
