Other: Friendly, jovial, and rather cheerful, initially coming off as a docile goody-two-shoes. However, Lily possesses a remarkably short fuse and is angered or frustrated very easily, often evidenced by the brilliant reddening of her ears and cheeks. Lily stepped out of her older brother's bright green car, smoothing her skirt down as she looked up at a tall, red-brick building ahead. It would be her first day in this new high school. It already looked quite a bit cleaner than the one she had left in the city. Here, at least, she did not have to walk around spatters of chewed-up tobacco or cigarette butts on the sidewalk. And yet she still looked down at the ground she walked upon out of old habit, occasionally remembering to look up and observe students-- new classmates-- walking past.

Reina, who was leaning on a brick wall, looked up, squinting. She didn't seem to recognise the bright green car that had just pulled up, or the girl who had just gotten out of it. Probably a new student. Interesting. Although, maybe she isn't and I just haven't noticed her before. Deciding to have a further look, she got off the wall and began to slowly make her way towards the general area the girl, trying to seem casual and blend in with the crowd. Which was probably difficult since she was the only person wearing bright blue, very distinct lipstick.

Lily wove her way through the students, painfully aware of the eyes on her. Almost instantly, she began to fret. Is my hairband straight? Do they think my skirt's indecent or too prude? Oh no-- what if I'm sweating on my blouse?!

Reina glanced at the girl out of the corner of her eye as she passed, debating about whether or not to approach her. She looked stressed, and Reina finally decided that she probably was a new student as she had initially thought. Finally making a decision, Reina stopped walking and spun around. "Are you alright?" she called, trying to seem casual.

"I'm fine," she blurted out quickly, suddenly flustered by the new presence of a person in front of her. Oh, god, my ears must already be bright red by now, she thought as she forced herself to relax a bit. "I mean... I'm fine, thank you."

"I'm... Lily," she responded, feeling the heat begin to fade from her face as she shook the girl's hand. Reina was tall, much taller than she was. The first thing that Lily's eyes settled upon were her lips, bright electric blue. They actually matched her own skirt. It was a coincidence that the she couldn't help but smile at.

"I got to here from Chicago," she explained. "But a few months before that I lived in Seattle. And before that, a small town in Ohio. But my dad think that we're here to stay in this town." She glanced over at the lot, where her brother had found a spot to park the green car. He had already gotten out, his tall and thin figure a direct contrast to her short and round one.
