Prius looked up, only vaguely aware of the three adults. They had positioned themselves atop a sort of balcony, looking down into the prison yard. Their speech sounded warbled and unintelligible to him.

"Get up! Didn't you hear? We're leaving in ten minutes, gotta secure a good seat on the dropship." The adults were still speaking, but most everyone had gotten up and surged towards the ship door.
