100 juvenile delinquents.3 starships, slowly running out of air.1 home planet.300 years ago, nuclear war devastated the planet so thoroughly that the remainders of humanity had to escape to space, manning starships that were meant to last little more than 100 years. As in every point in human history, society was developed into three ships, from the high class of Phoenix to the poorest in Walden. Needless to say, humanity could not afford to have the population growing. To avoid this, the government on Phoenix created strict reproductive laws and a policy of killing all convicts over the age of 18 within minutes of conviction. Any minors were to be kept alive until a retrial at their 18th birthday. Now, these delinquents are given one more chance. 100 are being sent back to recolonize the Earth. Name:

Age: 17
Appearance: Tall and extremely thin, traits made more pronounced by his usual slouched posture. His hair is straight and brown, usually tied back in a ponytail, and has bright blue eyes. His smile is ever-present and described as being extremely off-putting.
Personality: Usually laid-back and friendly, especially when high. His disposition is one of openness. However, when sobered up, he can be an extremely dangerous man to cross. He has been known to disfigure guards in such a way that their mouths are ripped into a permanent smile.
Other: A former medical apprentice on Phoenix and son of a very rich judge, he was imprisoned for drug use and stealing medical supplies to feed his habit. He has also been known to plant soporific plants and mushrooms in the botanical areas of Phoenix and sell to other addicts in Walden. However, from his crimes he has gleaned extensive medical knowledge and knowledge about plants, botany, biology, and the history of drug use on Earth.

Prius was hunched over with his back to the door of the cell when they arrived. His back was hunched as usual, every bump of spine showing through the thin, standard-issue prisoner's shirt that he wore. The jacket that had been meant to go over it was strewn carelessly across the ground. They had taken Prius by the arms wordlessly, guiding him out of the cell. He had given one of the guards a toothy smile. It was a young one, just a kid about a year younger than him. The boy made some half-baked excuse about the bathroom and left Prius alone with the adult. This one seemed unaffected by the look in the convict's eyes, simply sitting him down in a chair and handing him a file.

(Finished book 1 yesterday ;-  Injected with trackers and bracelet-clad, Nisha was led out from her cell. She clung to the words being spoken, of this strange mission to Earth. How long can we last? Will it be safe? We're all just teenagers. Indignant, none-all-too-pleasant thoughts swarmed in her brain, but she knew one thing was true. Going to Earth means possible death, but staying on the ship, it's inevitable. So few had been pardoned recently. |

After skimming through the words, which his mind was still a bit too addled to really process, he glanced to his right. There sat... some girl. Maybe he'd seen her before he was in solitary...? At any rate, her cane was pretty cool.

Scanning the room, Nisha's eyes landed on Prius. He looked vaguely familiar, be it something his posture or his face. She tried briefly to remember his name. Well, we'll all know each other soon enough.

"Hello there," Prius murmured, raising his eyebrows. His voice was rusty from misuse, but certainly showed personality. It wasn't very deep, and he held out his 'o's for the barest moment longer than most would. "You read through the file yet?"

"Earth, huh?" Prius grinned again. A bit of shine was back in his eyes, indicating that he was growing sober again. "I say I'm all for it. There's plants on Earth. There's space on Earth."

"There's probably enormous amounts of leftover radiation on Earth, too. But it is better than being put on trial." She paused for a moment, eyes gleaming dully. "Do you know much about Earth? Or will it be a surprise for all of us?"
