Coral narrowed her eyes, hesitating at the inquiries. What if they were trying to get information from her? What if they'd come here to attack? After another moment passed, she answered, "I've been here a long time. I chose to come here to Earth, and no. I am not here to reactivate this place."

"Oh." Carnelian visibly relaxed, their weapon fading from their hand. They stuck it out in greeting, the cheeky grin returning to their face. "Good. I'm here from homeworld, too. Been here for a few thousand Earth years. The name's Carnelian."

Coral returned her khopesh to her gem, standing. She glanced at Carnelian's hand before shaking it lightly. "I've answered your questions. Now you must answer mine. What are you doing here?"

Carnelian shrugged, looking around. "I was just here to check up on this Kindergarten. As you can see..." she gestured to the broken-up machines and filled-in caverns. "I have already done all the damage I needed to deactivate it. But I've been worrying that maybe some homeworld gems might just decide to check up on it."

"So you were the one who destroyed this place," Coral said, taking a quick glance around. "It's a wonder I haven't seen you before over these thousands of years. Do you have some sort of base nearby? Why are you here on Earth in the first place?"

"I don't really have a base. I mostly just walk around," Carnelian replied, shrugging. "I settle where I do to destroy any Kindergartens in sight. And I got here because, well... I broke out." They unclipped a sort of belt from their waist, showing Coral the faded numbers on the inside. "I was a prisoner for sabotaging Kindergartens from space. I figured, instead of rotting in a cell, I might as well try to sabotage them in person."

"Okay!" Morganite called as she rounded the corner. "So it doesn't look like there are any more monsters around-" she trailed off, spotting the two new gems. She shuffled awkwardly into position slightly behind Coral. So I guess they don't look like they're gonna kill us. Right? Hopefully. "So... Do you guys have some kind of home around here?"

Coral narrowed her eyes slightly at the arrival of Tanzanite. How many more are there? Hopefully she's the last of them... Turning back to Carnelian, she eyed the prisoner's tag. "So you're a criminal..." Coral gave a short nod. "What was homeland like when you left? I've been detached from it for much longer than you have, I'm sure."

Carnelian glanced at the broken machinery. "Quite a bit more advanced than this, but I left a while ago. By now the technology must be developed far beyond either of our understanding." They stuck out each hand towards one of the new gems-- a blue one and a light pink one. "Carnelian's the name, by the way."

"Oh. I apologize for not introducing myself, by the way. I'm Coral," she said softly, dipping her head. She turned her attention towards Tanzanite for a minute, studying her. She didn't look or seem very threatening, but Coral had had experience with things that could hide their intentions well. It would not do to trust this gem right away. The same went for Carnelian.

"I'm Morganite. Nice to meet you!" She smiled, shaking their hands. "And yeah, we do have a base! Coral and I are roomies, right Coral?" She motioned to the bubble. "We go around making sure monsters like these don't vandalize the Earth. It's pretty fun! " Morganite delivered a wide grin, glancing over each of them. I mean, they helped us fight the snake, didn't they? Maybe they aren't so bad.

Coral nodded silently. "It's actually not terribly far from here," she said after a moment. "It's very near the coast. Right on the shore, in fact." At the thought of getting home and back to the ocean, Coral smiled a bit, but she soon composed herself. She sent a silent message to Morganite through a quick glance. Should we take them to it?

Carnelian paused for a moment, touching their dark red hair and feeling a bit of mud left. Well, I mean, they aren't trying to kill me and they ran off from homeworld, same as me. And they aren't a bad-looking bunch, either. "I wouldn't mind a roof over my head. Think I can tag along?"
