"Oooh! Sunstone!" Cue the starry eyes on Morganite's part. She coughed. "But only for backup. We'll go in there and be civil for now and hope she follows the example." The pink gem turned, watching Coral walk down the beach. "Okay. I think we can make it look like a casual walk in by now!" she decided, starting down the stairs.

Lepidolite swung around. "Oh! Yes! Of course. Where should I stay?" They stayed bright and perky, as if nothing had ever happened.
Tanzanite was walking along the beach, kicking sand as she went, her path zig-zagged. "Little... why do I even... Fluorite isn't ever coming back on my terms, that's for sure..."

Morganite jumped a little bit, assessing the purple gem. They couldn't possibly be that bad though, right? "Well, we actually do not have an extra room at the moment, but we still want you to have a place to stay! Would you be alright rooming with one of us?" That way we can keep an eye on them.

Carnelian leaned against the stairs and listened to the conversation in silence, half-hoping for Lepidolite to get aggressive. A good fight, maybe even the inclusion of Sunstone, and this strange gem would be out for good. The very thought of fusion gave the orange gem a stomach rush. They had only used with Morganite once, the first time since they left Homeworld, but the thrill of becoming such a powerful and bubbly gem took away any remaining qualms they had about fusing with any of the others. Even if, admittedly, Sunstone could be just a tiny bit... over-the-top. Coral would probably use the word unstable.
