She shrugged. "Sorry. I'll paint some on your walls, though." Coral gave a sea turtle one last pet before began to swim back to shore. "We'll have a little ways to walk, since we wen out so far, but I don't think it'll be an issue."

"I know what you mean." When the reached the sand, Coral almost had a hard time standing after having been suspended in water for so long. The house was a mile or two away, still visible from where they were on the winding coastline.

Carnelian looked around as they walked past the large, empty cliff face, gazing at the thousands-- maybe millions-- of holes dug into the side. The weather had been bright and sunny all day, but when they entered the Kindergarten, it has seemingly transformed into a drab fog. They made a face at the deactivated carcass of a Homeworld machine, noting how (aside from the small gem party) it was the only spot of color in the place. "Why are we here, again?"

"To see if there are any gems left around here," Coral reminded them, shivering. This place felt odd and unnatural. Of course it did... The whole place made her feel uncomfortable in a way different from what she was used to. She couldn't exactly explain the feeling, but whatever it was, she didn't like it.
