We're Back!

Yep, You heard right! The North Wind Star has arrived! You may have known us on the other site as the Blogclan Post, and even though our name has changed, we're still the top news source in our community. On the other hand, you may have not known about us at all. Some of you probably have no idea what I'm talking about!
"Gosh, there goes Crazy Old Echowish again, rambling about her Broadway shows and her imaginary news. What's she talking about?" you wonder in a concerned manner. Well, I'm going to assure you that I'm not crazy and that this article isn't a figment of my imagination. Over the past month, Rainsong, Dawnfrost, Owlsong, and I have come together to create the North Wind Forum's very own newspaper! Get excited!

Here at the North Wind Star, you'll be supplied with all of the latest and greatest news. Check out our page every month for a new issue full of interviews, cool articles, polls, contests, amazing artwork and stories by your friends, book/movie/TV Show reviews, riddles, and more cheesy gif use by me! Sounds pretty cool, right? Well, prepare for even more wonderfulness, because you can contribute to the North wind Star too! We're Welcoming guest articles, artwork, writing, advertisements, and we're even having a Pin Post suggestion box! Now you'll be able to share your ideas, commission your art, and have your voice heard. So what are you waiting for? Get writing, and PM us your stuff!

Now, an interview done by Dawnfrost:
Hi guys! Recently, I interviewed Rainsong, who is the editor of the North Wind Star. So, here you have (after much chatter and a vacuous Pewdiepie gif) the inside info to the new Northwind Newspaper... the North Wind Star!
DAWNFROST: Hi Rainy! So, let's start with the first question. What made you interested in bringing the paper back?
RAINSONG: It seemed like fun, I guess. I like being involved in writing things.
DAWNFROST: Of course! So, what do you hope to achieve in the reboot of the newspaper?
RAINSONG: Something fun for readers, more things for North Wind goers to participate in, and all around a bit more activity.
DAWNFROST: Sounds really neat, I can't wait! What type of things will be published in the paper?
RAINSONG: We'll be publishing articles about the goings-on of the site, contests, short stories, guest articles, and plenty more.
DAWNFROST: Oh nice. How many issues are you planning on delivering? (e.g. one a month, etc)
RAINSONG: That's still in the workings, but right now the crew will be aiming for once or twice a month.
DAWNFROST: Very cool... Last question! How different will this paper be from the older versions, if any different at all?
RAINSONG: I think that there will be more opportunities for reader participation. We don't know what it will be like yet, but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun for everyone involved.
DAWNFROST: Neato! Getting everybody involved is a really great idea... I really can't wait to see where this goes! Thanks for sharing, Rainy!
Rainsong reporting on the changes that'll be in the new paper:
We here in the North Wind Star have been planning a great many changes! There will be a lot of reader interactivity:
We'll be accepting Pin Post submissions(send them by PM to the North Wind Star profile), guest articles and artworks(again, send by PM!), and we'll be hosting competitions- that's not even all! As the paper goes on through the issues, we'll have plenty of surprises up our sleeves! We will possibly be accepting new Star members later on in the paper's arc.

When the Moon Sings
I can hear the spirits calling

Through this white void, I’m falling

I run but I still sense their taunting

Hey, Rainsong here with an announcement. For the grand beginning of the North Wind Star, we'd like to put forth a contest for the logo. The logo must have something to do with the Northwind site, be it a Clan symbol, something representative of the reason for the site being around, something to do with the paper itself, or anything else. It should be under 1 KB of data. Happy drawing!
