She looked thoughtful for a moment. "They first made their move when we were hunting the herd, didn't they? We hadn't really considered them a threat before that but we could organise a patrol under the guise of needing more food because this ceremony is bound to set us back a bit."

If Erikur wants to be Chief, I need to be out of the way first, after all. Then we have a team of the best warriors standing by to attack them... To my knowledge the Outsiders don't have dragons, although their archery skills are pretty good. We'll need a force of the quickest dragons we have to avoid the arrows."

"There's some merit in that idea," she admitted. "It seems like I shouldn't expect them to challenge you to single combat. But if you want quick dragons..." Kaia grinned, giving him a thumbs up. "Astor is one of the fastest here, he is a Rocket Ripper after all." There was a hint of pride in her voice as the said dragon seemed to straighten up a bit.
