Vincent's eyes were wide as he scrambled back, away from the boggart. It was shifting before his eyes. He knew what was coming. Vincent desperately wanted to close his eyes, but for some reason, he couldn't seem to do so.

The creature soon took on a form, Vincent trying to make out what it was. It was a dog. A large, yellow, long-haired dog. His dog.

All at once, Vincent sank to his knees and burst into loud sobs. The golden retriever walked up to him, tail wagging as she tried to lick his face. Vincent tried to get back, pushing the dog away as much as he could. "No!" he screamed hysterically. "No! You're not real! I know you're not real! You're gone! You're not here anymore! JUST GO AWAY!"

Ricardo's eyes widened as his muscles finally took him out of shock and allowed him to move. He scrambled in between Vincent and the dog, eyes wide. "HEY! BOGGART! TAKE THIS INSTEAD!"

Vincent scrambled away, pressing himself against the wall. He was hyperventilating at this point, with tears still streaming down his face. All the memories had come flooding back at once. Vaguely, he realized Ricardo was the one who'd separated him from the dog.

Ricardo felt dizzy as the boggart shifted and changed. Sinking to his knees, he watched as his own face was mirrored back to him. It was himself, brandishing a knife and holding it to another boy's throat. Vincent.

Vincent gasped at the boggart's new form, instinctively putting a hand to his throat. This wasn't even his nightmare and it still scared him.

Ricardo watched in silent horror, tears streaming down his face as the Boggart-him grinned maniacally, putting the knife closer to Vincent's throat. Ruby red drops formed on the blade, spilling to the floor.

Vincent could almost feel the blood running down his neck. He looked on with a strange curiosity, watching the other Vincent slowly bleed out.

In one quick, fluid motion, Boggart-Ricardo slashed through the throat of Boggart-Vincent, whose appearance bubbled and morphed until his face was Giovanni's. Then Jane's, then Tessa's, then Xander's, then Nicolas's, slowly cycling through Ricardo's friends, his family. Until finally, the Boggart took on the shape of Leo under the knife.
