The entrance to the common room is located behind the portrait of the Fat Lady on the Seventh Floor of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it. A circular hole is behind the painting leading to the common room. The common room is a circular room where Gryffindor students can relax after a long day of studying. It is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace dominates one wall. The walls are decorated with scarlet tapestries that depict witches and wizards, but also various animals. It is usually where celebration parties are held after Gryffindor Quidditch victories. The Gryffindor dormitories are also located in the Tower, with two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. One of them leads to the girls' dormitory, the other to the boys'. The stairs to the girls' dormitory are enchanted to become a slide if any boy attempts to climb them, but not vice versa, since it was deemed that girls were more trustworthy than boys. |

Ricardo yawned, stumbling over to a chair in the common room. Crumpled in his hand was his schedule, which had been taped to his bedpost the night before.

Ricardo sighed, slipping a peircing in one ear. Tthe only reason he was up this early was because of the nightmares. He could still see the cold, disgusted looks in the eyes of his friends. Himself, rejected by his parents. Looked upon with distaste by his aunts and uncles. And scorned by his brother. That had been the worst part, by far.

Vincent glanced behind him, seeing that it was Ricardo who'd come in. He kept his mouth shut though, not daring to speak.

Ricardo, in all his bleary exhaustion and self-pity, did not see Vincent as he entered. Fishing a Galleon from his pocket, he slumped down in the chair. "Heads, I tell them. Tails, I dont."

And I'm scared that my friends, my family, they'll all alienate me because of it. I know they're not like that, but I'm still kind of apprehensive. That was what my nightmare was about." Ricardo paused, blinking. "And you are literally the second person who has heard anything about this. Ever. And I literally met you yesterday."
