"Oh, um... I'm not exactly sure, I guess. It was pretty early on though," Jane admitted, watching her shoes as she walked. "I just know that one day, I realized I liked you. A lot." She added a shrug to the end of her sentence, slightly embarrassed about opening up so much. But if it had to be someone, she was glad it was Riley.

Sure he had dated other girls before, but when it came to Jane, he was clueless, and nervous. Should he kiss her? Maybe. But how would she react? He had a feeling she was new to all this. Jane looked over at him, letting the awkward silence draw out as she thought of something to say. Usually, it wasn't this hard to talk to him. At least, not before he confessed his feelings. A slightly sick feeling settled in Jane's stomach. What if all this really did mean everything would change? The thought worried her.
