Rita sat at the central bench of the library, knees tucked beneath her. She flicked through the pages of a heavily bound book, frowning at the crude illustrations that dotted the margins. The extended project she had settled on for potions focused primarily on their use in cures and prevention of diseases, and as a result she was obliged to research some fairly gruesome stuff. It didn't bother her as much as it should have done, but some of the images she had seen... She turned the page, wincing as she was met with an incredibly detailed ink drawing of magical boils covering an area she wasn't too enamoured with viewing.

Riley sat in the library, his chin resting on the table as he read a book. He looked pretty into it, barely flinching when someone threw another book past his head, almost hitting him.

Jane had just finished checking out a book when she glanced over and saw Riley at the table. She pondered going over, but he seemed pretty engrossed in his reading. After a moment's thought, she began walking over. After all, they didn't get to talk much besides on the off chance that they saw each other after or between classes. "Hey," she greeted simply, plopping down in the chair next to his.
