He felt his cheeks color as he searched for the right words to say, his fingertips brushing her cheek to make sure that it was really Jane, not some dream, not some imaginary hallucination. "I wish I could see yours."

Just then a noise came from the door as one of the bolts started to slide open, the iron grinding on the other metallic surface with a groan. Leo looked up with a frown, watching for a few moments as bolt after bolt slid aside. "Nobody invited anyone else, did they?" He asked, a little annoyed at the prospect.

She felt her face warm at his touch and she cursed silently, realizing he could probably feel it. "They're hazel, but...that doesn't really mean anything to you." Jane glanced up at the sound of the door, watching carefully.

The Huffepuff opened his mouth to answer, but by the time he had found something to say the door was opening. Behind it stood a girl with long caramel hair, hands clasped in front of her and an apprehensive but bright smile plastered over her face. She was easily recognisable as Tessa, and yet her entire demeanour had changed; the natural shine behind her eyes appeared somewhat forced, and the way in which she held herself was almost tense. The alterations to her character were subtle, but all the smiles in the world couldn't hide the fact that they were there.

Giovanni's eyes searched her face, but if he noticed the differences, he didn't show it.
"Tessa!" Bianca ran up to her friend, grinning. "Oh my god! You made it!"
Nicolas blushed as he felt her hand grab his, stumbling after her.
