Mercutio flicked his tail. "Ever since arriving upon these lands many seasons ago and forming groups, cats have adapted to the new territories that they have had to live in. We have developed general characteristics that allow us to survive in our territory and thrive. Fighting styles reflect this. For example, PeakClan. They live on a craggy mountain, almost always cold. They have strong and lean bodies and hard paw pads that allow them to scale the cliffs and climb rocks, as well as thick fur to keep warm. They have to outrun and outmaneuver cougars and bears as well, strategies they use while fighting cats-- they use speed to attempt to confuse their enemies. So, according to what I just told you... how can they be defeated?"

Banquo was listening now, but he couldn't think of a good answer. Even Tenma was struggling with this one. She'd never given a thought to strategy before, other than biting down as hard as she could at the most damaging spot she could find until the enemy gave up. She racked her brain, trying to think if she had fought any cats like that before. She had gotten into a fight with a young weasel once, and he'd been pretty fast. "Stay grounded and strike hard?" she suggested.

"That would be a good strategy. Often with faster enemies, it is good to strike them down quickly. But a good way to defeat them would be to take away the main ability. Take away their speed."

Tenma's eyes narrowed as she tried to picture a fight like that. She went over it in her head, finally giving a small nod. "Alright."
Banquo was listening with growing interest. "What about the other Clans? TundraClan has to be easy to fight, they're such scaredy-mice." His whiskers twitched in amusement.
