Vincent shrugged, still not entirely convinced, but he smiled back anyway. "Okay. Let's go then." He was about to take a step towards the van, but he stopped and dropped his bag for a moment to wrap Ricardo in a tight hug.

Bianca hopped into the car and slid into the seat next to Tessa, grinning widely. "Who's ready for a road trip?" Elizabeth glanced away, folding her hands neatly in her lap. She and Bianca had made their peace a while ago; they decided that they didn't like each other and probably never really would, but for maturity's sake, they wouldn't keep up with their childish rivalry. It was getting tiresome anyway, constantly arguing and making passive-aggressive jabs at each other. Though her fifteen-year-old self would have scoffed at the idea, sometimes it was best to just move on. "Vincent?" Ricardo stepped into the tall grass, glancing around for that familiar flash of red hair. "Come on, I know you're out here. Why are you hiding?" The first part of that statement wasn't entirely true to it's implications. It had taken two searched around the house and one search through the yard to decide that his boyfriend was most likely out here somewhere. "I'm so excited!" Tessa gushed, waving her hands about for emphasis. "I've wanted to go away with friends for ages!" Leo followed Bianca on, cheeks flushed. His gaze shifted between a couple of seats, wondering if he had the nerve to sit close to her. |

Ricardo hugged him back, sighing. What with Vincent's social anxiety, it still worried him that he might not enjoy the trip. Still, if Vincent said that he was okay... "Alright, I think it's time we take a final head count before going off."
"I did as well, although camping wasn't exactly what I had in mind," Bianca admitted, wrinkling her nose. "Still, for the sake of Ricardo's birthday, I can let this one slide."

Vincent gave him one last squeeze before pulling away and picking up his bag. "Alright, I'm ready. Is everyone else here?"
After nearly running into the back of the van, Jane looked up from the book she was reading. With a soft "oh", she lowered the book and climbed into the seat in front of her sister.

"Looks like we're all here. Let's get going!" Ricardo opened the shotgun seat for Vincent and sat himself at the front, turning the ignition in the car.

"Luckily for all of us, I prepared a schedule for the trip," Giovanni replied, handing him a neatly cut piece of parchment. "Our first stop will be in three hours for food, in a Muggle supermarket."
"So no wands, and no acting weird," Ricardo said with a sigh. "Nothing like the last time we had to spend time in the Muggle world."

"Oh, I love the Muggle supermarkets," Vincent said, taking the piece of parchment delicately and unfolding it. "They're so interesting." He read a bit of the schedule before softly thanking Giovanni and handing it back to the Ravenclaw.
"You know, not all of us are unacquainted with the Muggle world," Jane mumbled from a row back. She had been forced to put her book down once they started driving for fear of getting a stomachache.
