Bianca stiffened, staring at the ground with wide eyes before turning around. "We're getting out of here. Fast." There was a new, strange chill in the air, the perpetually unloving sun finally approaching the horizon with a fiery red glare. The sounds that had been everywhere-- rustling leaves, laughing voices, lazy spring breezes-- had suddenly dissipated, leaving the world frozen in silence.

Vincent almost shuddered at the sudden change in the mood of the atmosphere. "Alright then. Do you know of any place that wouldn't exist here, or somewhere you rarely go? Or maybe someplace important to Jane would be better."

Ricardo shifted on the balls of his feet, thinking to himself. If Slytherin was the gate to Bianca's world, then Gryffindor must be the gate to ours. Hufflepuff should go to Leo's... but what about Ravenclaw? Even if the Library is Jane's, there's five other Ravenclaws to worry about. Unless any of them share worlds, which I doubt. We need to start documenting all of these.

"To the library it is, then," Vincent said, looking rather relieved. He turned back towards the castle, sighing. So now we're going to get Jane. I guess that means we're getting everyone in our friend group, or at least trying. Eventually we'll all have to return to the real world, but I can't help but wonder if all the evil here might catch up to us by then.

"I was just thinking about that, kind of. It'll have to be somewhere different, of course," Vincent mumbled. "It'll almost be like a process of elimination. But, um... I was also thinking... What if the exit to the real world is the Room of Requirement? It would make sense, in a way."

"The hardest part would be discerning where all the Ravenclaw gates are. If Jane is the library, then that leaves five others. One is definitely the common room. But the rest... hard to tell."

"I don't know. Hogsmeade just..." Ricardo shrugged. "I just don't think it's ever really had much of a connection to any of us. I mean, even on the days we could go down there, we hardly ever even did. Mostly just to visit my dad, but that's it. I think they're all within the castle."

Vincent held his breath, unsure if maintaining eye contact with the creature would anger it or gain its respect. Either way, he didn't move. He pressed against Ricardo's side as the three held their ground, waiting to see what the monster did.
