The entrance to the common room is located behind a stone wall in the dungeons of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it; whereupon a passage is revealed leading to the common room. The common room is a large room with greenish lamps, chairs, skulls and dark wood cupboards. This dungeon extends partway under the lake, giving the light in the room a green tinge. It has quite a grand atmosphere, but also quite a cold one. The password to the common room changes every fortnight, and it is posted on the noticeboard. It is decorated with tapestries featuring the adventures of famous Medieval Slytherins. |

Leo reached the door to the Slytherin common room, wondering how he was going to manage to speak to Bianca. He ran a hand through his hair self-consciously, and leant against the stone wall to wait for someone to exit.

Sure enough, the one who would exit was Bianca herself. "Hi, Leo!" She said happily, wavin. So that her bracelets would jingle. "What brings you here?"

He stood up straight, a little startled. "Uh, hey Bianca! Well, Nicolas and I were thinking of having a small New Year's party in the Room of Requirement tonight at nine. Will you- I mean, would you like to join us? If- if you're not already thinking of going to the big party, that is."

Bianca laughed. "The party won't be worth it without all of you there, anyway. Sure, I'll come. I still have some biscotti my father sent me for Christmas, so I'll bring some of that. I'm glad we're all getting into a holiday spirit again, after the incident with Tessa. She wouldnt want us to mope around all New Year's."

Leo grinned, scratching the back of his neck. "Great! Erm, we're all thinking about staying the night there, so you might want to bring something to sleep in." He felt himself flush and silently thanked the darkness of the dungeon.
